Congratulations, Class of 2026! You’re officially in the home stretch. While you’re busy dreaming about what comes next, it’s time to take a quick victory lap through the places where it all started.
Remember being a wide-eyed elementary student looking up at the "big kids"? Now, you are the big kids. We’re keeping the tradition alive with the 2026 Senior Walk, and we want you there!
**Mandatory to sign up and ride busses. NO one can drive from school to school.
***Our Senior Walk is May 15 at 9:30am, right after Senior Breakfast!

Senior Awards / Capping CeremonyApril 22, 2026
Senior Awards Night - April 22, 2026 - 5:30 pm
*Students will be notified at the beginning of April by EMAIL INVITATION if they are awarded a cord or stole.
Parents are invited. This event is happening right before the Capping Ceremony.
Verify cords/stoles with advisors / teachers if you have not already done so!
After the Senior Awards - Cap/Gown Distribution
After the awards, all seniors pick up graduation cap/gowns at Vista Ridge High School BEFORE the capping ceremony.
Capping Ceremony - April 22, 2026 - 7:15pm
Seniors and Parent(s)/Guardian(s) welcome.
Seniors, be sure to bring your Capping Ceremony letter (see description below).
There is a ceremony paired with the Senior Slideshow.
**All cap and gowns will be distributed on April 22, 2026 before the Capping Ceremony.
If you can't make this evening, graduation cap/gowns will be available for pickup the following day at VRHS.
NOTICE
The Falcon Education Foundation's scholarship application will be live starting Monday, January 19th . Deadline for submission is March 6th.

Have you paid your VR fees?
Please check to see what fees you owe.
Any unpaid balance on your student fees account may result in not being able to walk in the graduation ceremony.
**Any unpaid balance may also result in no prom attendance and/or receiving diploma.
You can check with Ms. Contessa Somerville -
contessa.somerville@d49.org about your balance and pay fees.

**REMINDER - We use a custom cap & gown, and they take 6-8 weeks to produce, so don’t miss this deadline!
