Key Club
Vista Ridge High School Key Club
The Vista Ridge chapter of the Kiwanis global organization is entering it's fifth year as a charted club, and we are planning lots of great new activities for our members to get involved in the community. Over the last four years, Key Club has worked with Marion House Soup Kitchen, Habitat for Humanity, Ronald McDonald House, Rocky Mountain Field Institute, March of Dimes, and local schools.
Key Club is a great place to meet new people, try new things, and put your heart out to the community. Key Club membership is open to any students who desire to become a leader in his/her school and community and wishes to provide service to others. However, there are requirements to be considered an "active" member.
Each member must:
- pay the fee of $15.00
- complete 20 hours of service per semester*
- must have completed at least 50 hours of service for the entire school year*
- must be interest in service, of good character, possessing leadership potential and having such other qualifications
*Note: Community service hours must be for the current school year. Hours cannot be transferred over from the previous year.
Meets every other Thursday from 2:45-3:15 in room H209
Come with your volunteer ideas/opportunities that the club can participate in.
