Advanced Leadership

Advanced Leadership is for students who have successfully completed Basic Leadership and who want the opportunity to apply their leadership skill-sets to school and community-related projects.  

Here are just a few highlights from the past ten years:

• Donated a Red Maple tree to VRHS - to replace one destroyed by vandalism
• Annual ‘Polar Express’ Christmas Celebration for 20+ families from Family Life Services who are survivors of domestic abuse and who otherwise would not have been able to enjoy a Christmas ‘party’.   
• Thanksgiving Food Drive for Vista Ridge families in need.
• Skyview Leadership Days for 8th graders. 40 + of our students went to SMS for a day and presented to 8th graders about what to expect when they get to high school.  
• Projects throughout the school year as implementation of ‘Challenge Day’ concepts.
